The UFO Casebook received the following video footage and UFO report from Paul Spera. Paul's website can be accessed HERE. The compelling night video, taken on February 2, 2005 at approximately 9:33 PM, shows a multi-lighted object moving across the skies of New Hampshire. A must see! I want to think Paul for listing this video with us, and be sure you see the article below the video clips. Thanks, B J. Here is Paul's account of what he saw; During the day of February second the Concord Monitor, a local news paper, came to my house to interview me and watch some of my footage. (see article below) That night I took some of the best footage I have shot to date. I had seen a small gold light out in the woods behind my house and videotaped it for a few minutes until it went behind some trees. After reviewing the footage I thought that it more than likely was a plane. I again looked out and in the middle of the sky at about 1000- 2000 feet was a group of gold lights with a small, flashing red light at the bottom of the group. I immediately zoomed in and was quite intimidated by the size of the object. At first glance it looked like two objects but as the object flew over my head and started to bank and turn towards the west it was clear this was one ship. After watching the footage I noticed the clip looked similar to footage I filmed on 9/23 2004 (see my website for this sighting) in which a smaller object separates from the main craft and leads in formation. This time the object did not perform a separation. They slowly and silently flew from the southwest directly towards me and then started heading back in the same direction. I would estimate the size of the object to be 300 to 400 feet. Part one of the video is the craft flying at me and over me. Part two is the craft leaving as I film it from behind. 03 February 2005-By Robert Verkaik, Legal Affairs Correspondent Details of Britain's most recent UFO sightings are revealed in previously secret documents disclosed to The Independent . The files, released under the Freedom of Information Act, show that, last year, the Ministry of Defence's UFO unit received 88 reports from military staff and members of the public worried about unexplained objects in our skies. The classified files help to complete a picture of the scale of UFO sightings first revealed by this paper last month. These updated "X-files" show the most recent observations were made on 15 January this year following two separate reports from Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, and Whitstable, Kent. The reports refer to "strange lights seen in the sky". Other sightings give more detail. A report from Devizes in Wiltshire on 24 September last year records an object that: "Looked liked a big ball of fire coming down from the sky with a tail and sparks coming off the end of it." Another, from Somerset the week before, states: "The object looked like a great bright light and was really intense, like a ball of fire coming down from the sky, rapidly moving towards the ground." Although such reports might be discounted as meteor showers or other astronomical phenomena, other sightings are not so easy to dismiss. A report from Surrey on 20 May last year describes a UFO as having "grooves and windows" but no room for humans. Even the MoD inspector notes that the "witness had seen the object so clearly". Many of the other sightings refer to UFO's changing colour, speed and shape. The most common colours are yellow, orange or black. A report from Goole, East Yorkshire, recorded in April last year, noted: "The object looked like a boomerang and was stationary over a power station. An aircraft was circling the object." In the same month, a UFO observer from Seaforth, Merseyside, noted: "I saw a UFO with a cluster of four bright lights in a ring shape on it. Three beams of white light shone upwards and disappeared." These latest files to be declassified by the MoD are not as complete as reports from mid-1976 and 1977 released last month. Hundreds of documents previously kept secret by the Ministry of Defence's special UFO department, known as S4F, detail many reports of a possible visit by extraterrestrial life-forms. One is made by an RAF pilot and two NCOs at RAF Boulmer, Northumberland. In July 1977 Flt-Lt A M Wood reported "bright objects hanging over the sea''. The MoD document adds that the RAF officer said the closest object was "luminous, round and four to five times larger than a Whirlwind helicopter". The UFOs were reported to be three miles out to sea at a height of about 5,000ft. The officer, whose report is supported by Cpl Torrington and Sgt Graham, said: "The objects separated. Then one went west of the other, as it manoeuvred it changed shape to become body-shaped with projections like arms and legs." The report describes Flt-Lt Wood as "reliable and sober". That account was deemed so sensitive to the national interest that the MoD had delayed its release for an extra three years. But under the Freedom of Information Act, which came into force on 1 January, the file has been declassified. source: http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/this_britain/story.jsp?story=607253 |

On February 3, 2005, the time being 21:45 hrs. a UFO was seen crossing the skies of the capital of the Argentinean Pampa.
The UFO was yellowish-brass in color, its estimated size being twice as large as a first-magnitude star and moved from NE to SE some 30 degrees over the horizon and toward the West. This object was recorded during part of its transit for approximately 3 minutes by members of the "CIUFOSLAPAMPA" group. Subsequently, another object was detected some 35 degrees over the horizon and toward the west, following a north/south trajectory. After moving along at a constant luminosity, the object unexpectedly increased its size for some 30 seconds, as in the earlier case, before vanishing completely. "Night Visitors" is not a biography, but rather a collection of various events throughout my life and while it is not all of them, there is enough to give you some idea of what I have experienced. My first vivid encounter occurred when I was two years old and that experience is etched so strongly in my memory because it was so terrifying. Thirty-six years later the visitations continue only I am not permitted to remember seeing them. However I am able to recall shadows, smells and sounds...
And so it begins...real life events that none of us wish were ours. Yet, there are those like Barb who have the courage to open her heart and soul to us all; revealing events of her life that she had no control over. Events that go far beyond one night of being taken against ones will. Though terrible that one night with them can be, at least time begins to fade the darkness of it into light eventually. But, what if that one night turns into two, and a year into ten, and a decade into thirty years... Read Barb's real life story in her compelling new ebook, "Night Visitors." See all the details here.

NORFOLK - At about 10:30 on the evening of Jan. 2, Drew Quale and his wife, Sally, were with a friend at their weekend home on North Colebrook Road, packing up their car for a trip to Bronxville, N.Y., when they say they saw a brightly-lit orb hovering above a 10-acre field nearby. The object zigzagged over the dark landscape, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, darting "randomly like a hummingbird" from just above the field to 100 feet in the air, according to a report the Quales submitted to www.ufoevidence.org. For about 45 minutes, Mrs. Quale took pictures of the object with her digital camera, following it from the backyard as it ranged over a copse of pine trees in the middle of the field and behind a crabapple tree on one edge of the field. The Quales were from 200 to 300 yards away from the object. It made no noise. About 45 minutes later, at about 11:15 p.m., the Quales decided they ought to leave. It was a Sunday, and they had to make it to Bronxville, a town in Westchester County, that night and go to work the next morning. As they were leaving, they drove to the other side of the field and into an ancient driveway, noting that the shape and intensity of the object didn't change. They left while the object was still visible. "We were afraid to venture close to it because we just didn't know what it was and thought it might be dangerous," the report says. "We've never seen anything like this before, and [this has] been our weekend home for over 20 years." Mrs. Quale, a public information officer for the Bronxville School District, said the object appeared to be about the size of a basketball. The Smith College graduate said she has explored the possibility that it was ball lightning, a vaguely- understood natural phenomenon in which a ball of electrical energy appears and moves horizontally through the air. She now doubts that was what she saw because it stayed so long, even after the Quales left. It remains a mystery, she said. "It was like someone had a mouse and was moving a cursor," Mrs. Quale said. "It was like you might move the cursor this way and that way and click on the word you wanted to correct. We thought it was so weird we didn't want to go out there." Mr. Quale, a Harvard Law School graduate and a senior partner with the Seventh Avenue law firm of Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, was quoted in Norfolk Now, the community newsletter that first reported the story, as saying, "We still have no idea what it was." Though the object looks like a full moon in pictures, Mrs. Quale said she was certain it was not the moon or any other celestial body. The sky was overcast that night, she said, and everything was black except for the ball of light. "It was absolutely black, because there was cloud cover and no moon and no stars, and if you looked out at the field with the eye you couldn't see anything but this white light," she said. A meteorologist at the Western Connecticut State University confirmed that the sky was overcast the night of Jan. 2. Records compiled from a weather station at the Great Mountain Forest in Norfolk show that at 10:31 p.m. the temperature was 35.6 degrees Fahrenheit, and the humidity was at 97 percent, which is very high. The wind was calm to mild, and a very light rain fell sporadically between 8:30 and 11 p.m. that day. Sixty percent of the moon's surface was illuminated on Jan. 2 in Norfolk, but the moon didn't rise that night until 11:31 p.m., 15 minutes after the Quales left, according to data from the U.S. Naval Observatory. The Quales' strange encounter is certainly not the first of its kind in the region, though the Quales appear to be decidedly more credible than the average UFO spotter. UFOs of all brands-from hot-dog-shaped ships with blue spotlights emanating from portholes to a small, star-shaped craft hovering above Main Street in Winsted-have been reported in Litchfield County on Web sites like www.nuforc.org and www.ufoevidence.org. One story described a "mothership" visiting Litchfield center in 1971. Another reported a "bizarre star" that moved quickly across the sky in Washington in 2002. One recent report bears a striking resemblance to what the Quales say they saw. On Sept. 7 of last year at 8:30 p.m., a 50- year-old quality assurance technician from Torrington reported seeing an orb whisk across the sky from the balcony of his second-story apartment. The man, an "amateur astronomer from a very young age," wrote that he saw a globe moving slowly through the air for some time before darting away quickly and disappearing. It "appeared to be illuminated from within," according to an account on www.nuforc.org. "At the last before it faded from view, it was very dimly lit and looked like a crystal ball. It looked transparent, like a globe or sphere. From the time it moved quickly till it faded out could have only been a second or two. This quick movement probably covered 10 degrees of sky." The man reported seeing the object again a week later, on Sept. 12, and then again another week later. The object looped back and forth and then zipped away. "It was a very unusual zigzag type of pattern," the man wrote in a report on www.ufoevidence.org, where he also posted a diagram of the object's trajectory. "It did this zigzag type pattern about four times before flying off." On the 24th day of April 1950, 42 year old factory worker Bruno Facchini
was working the late shift, and stepped outside to get some fresh air on his
break. His home city of Varese in Italy had just had a severe thunderstorm.
The last distant streaks of lightning were still visible as Bruno decided to
see if the electrical system had popped a circuit breaker. He was taken
completely aback at what he saw not far from the factory doors.
Investigating a bright glowing light which he thought was part of a factory transformer problem, he was shocked to see a circular shaped, glowing object with a ladder descended from its bottom. At the top of the UFO was a greenish glow which partially obscured a light-skinned being. The unusual being appeared to be welding something on the craft. Bruno's first impression of the craft was that it was a type of experimental craft from a nearby air base. His impression was quickly altered by the sight of several other small alien creatures which emerged from the craft. In a moment or two, the ladder began to be drawn up into the mysterious craft, and the beings began to reenter the craft through an invisible door of some kind. The full realization of what he was witnessing sent Bruno into a full run away from the frightening encounter. As he fled, he heard a sound like that of a large beehive. One of the remaining creatures pointed a type of weapon at the scared worker, and a beam of force knocked him to the ground. Although in pain, he was able to watch the last activities of the strange aliens as they prepared the craft to take off. The beehive like sound increased as the object made its way into the skies and vanished from view. The next day, Bruno made a full report of his encounter to the police force. There were signs still visible of the activities of the night before. Police found burned patches on the ground, and indentation marks of an extremely heavy object. Also found were some odd, green pieces of a metal-like substance. Bruno recounted the welding operation, and suggested that the green pieces of debris were refuse of the process. The fragments were analyzed. The results of this test concluded that the fragments were an "anti-friction" material, containing several types of metal along with a lubricant. In September 1953, UFO investigators had their own tests conducted on the green substance. A scientific institute specializing in metallurgy assessed that the fragments were 74% copper, 19% tin, and other trace elements. The substance, under heavy magnification was a yellow-white color, but did not contain any metals which could not be found on Earth. These conclusions did not entirely rule out the possibility of an extraterrestrial connection in the case of Bruno Facchini. There is no way to conclude that the metal composition could not be made on another planet. Facchini's accept was taken very seriously by all who knew him. He was a respectable man, well liked, and considered to be reliable and trustworthy. He gained nothing from his tale of the strange object and occupants he described on the night of April 24, 1950. source: Eye witness statements, UFO Italy. |

AXIS -- One year ago in January of 2004 a coworker and I saw a cigar shaped craft four miles away flying north at about 600 MPH and 5000 feet at 9:20 AM. A week later, a security guard and I saw a similar cigar moving due west. The first cigar had a dark spot mid-ship, while the second object had four dark spots evenly spaced in brushed aluminum. On January 13, 2005, I observed the same type of plane approaching from the north headed due south at low altitude again 9:15 AM. I pointed it out to a coworker and said watch this plane it looks like the disappearing plane I saw last year. Shortly after it passed the 2 o'clock position it disappeared with the sound, suddenly ending a second later. As it passed overhead it appeared to have an Air Force emblem on the wing in a light gray color. Both planes sighted where all white with no other identifying markings visible. Both planes had two engines attached to the rear fuselage like old DC-9's. The skies were clear on all four occasions. I wonder if we have a daylight Stealth aircraft! Thanks to Brian Vike www.hbccufo.com . SATSUMA – The witness noticed a flash in the sky at 10:28 AM, on January 23, 2005, next to a small cloud. Having my digital camera with me I decided to put it in movie mode and shoot a little video. Upon downloading the clip and watching it I found a fast moving object in several frames. The total clip length is 16 seconds and objects are spotted in several frames. This is the first frame that the object appears in at 5.34 seconds into the video. The object is at the top of the frame to the right of center. The object appears again in this frame at 6.43 seconds at the top of the frame right of center again. |

Anchorage, Alaska USA-Jan. 25, 2005 at 9:50 PM Alaska Time. The witness states: I looked up in the sky and saw a
bright orange object moving farther out than where airplanes would fly,
east to west at about 1/4 of the speed of a satellite. About the
magnitude of Venus but maybe as big as 1 1/2 venus's, it was visible
for about 11 minutes then it went stationary for about 2 minutes then
disappeared. Altogether it moved about a fifth of the sky horizon to horizon. The whole time i watched it i had a "very" nervous feeling even though it was so far away. The sighting was witnessed by seven other people. thanks to Jeri Cook source: UFO Casebook online reporting form. |

PHOENIX -- My fiancé was walking the dog and called me outside to look at very bright multicolored sparkling light in the sky on January 16, 2005 at 4 AM.. After taking a look, I ran and grabbed the binoculars and we both looked at it and it seemed to be emitting a rainbow of constant clear true colors of red, green, blue, white and yellow. The lights seemed to be coming from a diagonal line off one side of the craft, but the shape of the craft was hard to see, since it was small in the southwest sky. (Peter Davenport Director of NUFORC spoke at length and found her to be quite serious-minded and credible. We explored whether the witnesses might be observing the star, Sirius, which is quite prominent in the southern sky during the winter months. She looked again on the following night, and asserted that the object was not visible on that date, seemingly ruling out a star. PD)) Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com |

| CUCAMONGA – The witness was looking north towards the San Gabriel Mountains and saw four disc shaped objects heading east on January 22, 2005, at 7 PM... They were shiny and reflective, not unlike polished Aluminum. A small propeller aircraft just south of the mountains started to approach, and the four objects disappeared immediately as the aircraft came into view. |

NEWTOWN -- The object was hovering at 45 degrees above the woods behind my house on January 24, 2005 at 7 PM. The witness reports the trees are about 30 feet high. And the craft was about two inches across at arm’s length. The craft was shaped like a classic cartoon flying saucer -- round with colored lights all around it and a bubble shape on top. It appeared silver. It was silent and still for several seconds while its orange, red, yellow, and green square-shaped lights circled around it. It is unclear if the craft itself was spinning. I looked away and it was gone. Thanks to Peter Davenport
OXFORD -- We were driving along a winding, suburban Connecticut road when we saw what we thought was a jetliner on January 20, 2005 at 11 PM. The craft turned around and was heading towards us, shining a bright light towards the ground. “I turned to look at everyone else’s speechless faces, as it moved within 100 yards from us above the treetops hovering near large colonial homes going down beyond the treetops.” It looked like a large minivan without wheels or wings, with an ambulance-like door on the back of the object. The door was lit-up, or glowing. This was absolutely not a helicopter or an airplane, because we heard no noise. This was a lit up object moving slowly, then jumping quickly and hovering above the woods and homes. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com |

| LEWES – The witness was heading south towards Lewes, when he saw four solid red lights in a chevron formation on January 19, 2005 at 7 PM. They were hovering and remained stationary for 45 seconds, before they faded away, as if turning down a dimmer switch. A few seconds later, the same formation appeared in the opposite quadrant of the sky, remained lit for about 45 seconds, and again dimmed. The distance between the two points would have been far too great to have been traversed by a conventional craft. Shortly after the second appearance, a formation of 8 US fighter jets approached the area where the lights had appeared. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director, www.ufocenter.com |

| LAKE WALES -- We were on Highway 60 near River Ranch when we noticed big lights on an object that was a disk with lots of lights (window like) which was moving at 8:10 PM, January 24, 2005. At this same time, I saw bright lights like a half-dozen flares that sparked and then were gone. In addition there were little lights flashing all over that area. We pulled off the highway in a safe place, and got out the binoculars and by the time he got them adjusted, the disk-like object was gone. However, I still saw the bright lights (a second time), and the little lights dancing were all over the sky. It looked like the top of a very wide oil refinery tank with lights mounted around the top edge of the tank. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com |

| BLOOMINGTON – On January 27, 2005, three witnesses, Alice and John and I spotted a bright object low in the western sky at 9:30 PM. The witness states, “I ran over to the door and saw a red/orange orb hovering in the tree tops. I thought maybe it was a star, but from experience I know to not second guess it. Anyhow, I grabbed my binoculars, and watched it and it barely moved. Then it started flying north and grew in brightness. It began to move fast, I called for Alice, my wife, and she came to the door and looked, and said "which one?" I was like "huh?” Low and behold there was a second one lower in the trees moving north as well and just as bright as the other and fading from red to orange. The objects went out of site, and John said he was taking off. About five minutes later John called me and said he had seen 5 objects hovering over Bloomington, and one moving west. SURF CITY -- Driving home from work, an object was initially sighted near Topsail Island on January 21, 2005 at 11 PM. At first, we thought it was a military Osprey craft, a VTOL aircraft, because the lighting was unfamiliar and quite peculiar. I stopped along the road and it was silent and in my estimation within 300 feet of the ground. I proceeded home a couple miles and it was sitting over the ocean in front of our home. I immediately retrieved my 4.0 mega pixel digital camera and took a number of pictures as it moved away. I noted pulsing of very bright red, white, yellow, (green?) and occasionally blue lights. It was moving to the northwest at what I would estimate to be 35 knots. It was one to two hundred feet across. Within a minute or two, it disappeared behind (below) the island's northern horizon of trees and houses about a mile distant. The most interesting aspect of this sighting was that the recorded images had a characteristic luminous multi-directional, sinuous, plasma-like blurred trail which we did not visualize. Also, blue objects appeared and disappeared in what seemed to be random intervals in proximity to the object, at variable distance and position. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com |

| ASHTABULA -- My father was watching TV in the living room, and all of a sudden he shouted out for me to come quickly on January 21, 2005 at 7 PM. We saw a star-like object about 5000 feet up. The object was coming in from the northeast and heading southwest with a series of lights in the center of it's star shaped feature. Again no noise! My father and I do not believe it to be the space station because it was too low to the ground, and my father said that he never has seen lights like that on conventional aircraft. PORTLAND – The witness was looking at a mysterious white light in the sky on January 19, 2005. There were several aircraft on approach for PDX international airport with their landing lights on. The sky was clear to the south, a 1/2 moon was in the west lighting up the 3:30 AM sky. He noticed a large object several miles south at a very high elevation approaching very fast. It was faster and higher than the incoming jets. The first thing I noticed was the speed and size of the object, then, I realized there were no lights or strobes. It was grey in color as illuminated from the moon. I called my friend, and he said, “Why are there no lights? It was a huge unmarked grey flat bottom solid shape, at very high altitude, extremely fast flying and totally silent straight line flying object. It flew north in a straight line that if it remained on this path it would fly directly over PDX. The tower must have seen this craft.
Peter Davenport spoke with this witness, and he sounded both sincere and credible to us. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com |

| BRISTOL -- Kim Shaffer MUFON SD reports, “A couple and his wife had just arrived home at about 5 PM, on January 17, 2005, when he saw a large silver disc with a flat bottom at about 70 degrees to his east. He described the object as being highly polished with a smaller dome shape upon the main body. The relative size to the witness was that of a basketball at arm’s length. He immediately alerted his wife who exited the car to also see the same object moving away eastward and ascending. The entire sighting lasted no longer than 20 seconds. | PORT TOWNSEND - On January 18, 2005, the witnesses were about to cross the Hood Canal Bridge near Bangor Military Base when they saw two airplanes flying directly above one another-about 100 feet apart. They each had three white lights in a pyramid pattern. They swooped around in a way that planes can't and then disappeared into the water? we couldn't tell). | CABOOLTURE – The witness was out side having a smoke looking up at the stars when he saw a bright light flying very fast across the sky. His mates ask what I was looking at and I showed them the light on January 15, 2005 at 11 PM. It was too high to be a normal jet plane or a jumbo jet and too fast to be a satellite. As it flew across the sky it suddenly disappeared. The color of the light was a bright yellow color like a star there was only 1 of these objects and it was like a star flying across the night sky very fast. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com |

| CROWBOROUGH, EAST SUSSEX – The witness says, “Not quite sure what I saw but at 4.45 AM on morning of 21st January my wife and I were woken to the usual sound of foxes in my back garden.” Looking up in the clear sky we both noticed 4 red lights in a perfect straight line moving across the sky, going north to south, followed behind to the right at the same height and speed two other red lights, none of the lights were flashing. There was no noise as I would expect from planes. www.UFOCenter.com |
