One of the most mysterious cases relating to the UFO phenomena is the recent report of the Xendra; supposedly a temporal doorway into a parallel reality, occupied by alien beings. The Xendra, (pronounced "shen-drah") first appeared on Sunday, March 31, 2002, after being heralded by Peruvian ufologist Sixto Paz in February, 2002. Paz had forecast the coming of the Xendra as an "alien contact" event. The events reportedly occurred near Rancagua, Chile. Paz and several members of a new age group called "Grupo Rama" met for a three-day seminar on UFOs at Los Cipreses National Park near the city of Rancagua on March 29. The meeting was a camp-out affair on a bluff overlooking the Rio Cipreses canyon. |
Many other visitors were present besides those of Paz's group, being in attendance at the International Congress of Extraterrestrial Contact. Paz was one of the keynote speakers, and was well-known and respected among the community of Chilean UFO believers. He had previously stated that he was a contactee, and was given the information of upcoming events by the aliens themselves. Naturally, Paz's predictions had brought a larger crowd unusual, and even more interest was generated on March 30, when eyewitnesses saw "unidentified" targets glowing in the skies over the canyon.
"They were as bright as giant light bulbs," claimed one eyewitness.
"These types of UFO sightings assured us that something was going to happen," Valdivieto said, "During the previous occasions when the contact took place, the people included in the teleportation were suddenly aware of the interdimensional gateway or Xendra. They somehow learned that through this door, they would have managed to establish contact with extraterrestrial beings."
"On Sunday (March 31, 2002) at around noon, 24 persons in three groups entered a dimensional gateway that appeared by itself over the terrain. It was a kind of dome, a luminous archway measuring four by four meters. They (the participants) lost their materiality without disappearing completely. Upon entering, they met several (alien) characters who waited within and received information," said Valdivieto, 28, himself a Chilean ufologist and eyewitness to the event.
According to Valdivieto, the contact experience was "dimensional."
"I can't say it was physical like shaking someone's hand, but it was as though we crossed (the threshold) into a different reality."
Valdivieto claimed that he did not cross the doorway or Xendra himself, because he wanted to be a witness to the phenomenon. The 24 participants were "all professionals, college students of high intellectual levels, mostly Chileans, and some were members of Grupo Rama, a New Age association."
In a striking contrast, Eduardo Fouri, an investigator for Chile's Centro de Fenomenos Aereos Anomalos (Center for Anomalous Aerial Phenomena.), or CEFAA completely debunked Valdivieto's story, adding that he himself "had participated in the event" at Rio Cipreses "and had seen absolutely nothing."
"Everyone was eager to have an experience and, on the last day, Sixto Paz said that a blue arch was forming in the air," Fouri said, "I went to look and could see no such blue arch. Seven Chileans (not twenty four) were selected to cross through this 'Xendra' that was forming. The truth is, I went to look and I didn't see anyone dematerializing into thin air."
To make matters even more confusing, CEFAA itself negated Fouri's statement. Gustavo Rodriguez, national Secretary of CEFAA, "explained that the opinion was that of an external collaborator and that it did not represent the committee's opinion."
"We do not have an opinion in this regard," Rodriguez said, "First, because we lack information. Second, we were never invited to the meeting. And third, Sr. Sixto Paz never contacted us. What appeared in the newspapers was the opinion of an external collaborator."
Paz continued to insist that the events happened exactly as he initially claimed. He stated that the volunteers; "did have an interdimensional experience" at Rio Cipreses. In an interview with Terra Chile, Paz said, "The initial effort was made to ensure excellence by trying to keep a large number of people from attending, only those who had been prepared over time for the importance of the (contact) mission--constancy, continuity and discipline--to maintain the right vibratory level" for entry into the Xendra."

"Everyone wanted to be at the site to see what would happen," Paz reported, "This was a serious error, because neither I nor anyone else is the 'lucky rabbit's foot' that can ensure an alien contact experience. This depends exclusively upon each and every one of the participants, as well as the conditions I just mentioned." "From a height we could see the impressive canyon of the Rio Cipreses, safeguarded by steep and mighty red-and-gray mountains. The vista was incredible and truly stunning. The sky was clear, without any clouds or haze." "It was a new (campsite) area, recently laid out. |
"The first thing that was done at the (camp) site was to designate locations for objects being unloaded from cars, and then we worked on the harmonization and protection of the area. To achieve this, everyone present formed two large circles, and we issued a prayer or meditation to the guardian spirits of the four corners of the Earth and the seven Galactic Directions, drawn from the magnificent teachings of the great modern prophet, Jose Arguelles of Las Trece Lunas (The Thirteen Moons) movement."
When the 24 participants passed beneath the Xendra, each encountered entities which were described as "robed, bald-headed humanoids" and were given separate messages. While the individual messages varied, Paz explained, there were two predictions that were common to all.
One, that Chile would be the site of more alien contacts in the months to come.
Two, that the aliens intended to establish "a permanent presence" in the "Southern Zone," i.e. South America, Africa and Australia.
Meanwhile, the participants are busily getting out the Xendra message. On Friday, May 10, 2002, witness Camilo Valdivieto, 28, organized a seminar of his own in Santiago de Chile. Seminar topics included the following: (1) "The Existence of a New Order;" (2) "Secrets of the Subterranean World;" and (3) "The Actuality of Extraterrestrial Contact." (See NotiOVNI for May 5, 2002.
The murky facts concerning the Xendra are reminiscent of the 1950s case of George Adamski, one of the original so-called "contactees." Adamski claimed to communicate with the Venusians, among others, and take fantastic rides on extraterrestrial spaceships. He amassed a large following during his heyday. He also was responsible for taking clear pictures of Alien craft. Adamski has been deemed a liar and a lunatic by most serious UFO researchers, although he still has a following today. Until more factual testimony and proof is received, the mystery of the Xendra will remain.
The Secret KGB UFO Files, The Russian Crash of 1969

I wrote an article about the show about 7 months ago, and will rerun it here. I wish I had more data on the show, and if I do get additional facts, I will pass them along to our readers. To save a lot of time and effort, I will answer a question many of you have sent me via email, "Do you have the film of the crash recovery?" The answer is I have a copy of the TV program, but copyright law prohibits its showing on the net. |
The details of a Russian Crash on or about 1969 are sketchy and somewhat suspect. This case comes from the so-called "Secret KGB Files," which were reportedly smuggled out of the former Sovet Union. Reportedly, $10,000 was paid for the information. The details of these secret files were first offered to the general public on 9-13-98 as part of a TNT special titled "The Secret UFO Files of the KGB." The show featured extraordinary film and still photographs of the UFO recovery, and also a portion of autopsy film on part of an alien body.
The event itself, according to the files, occurred in the state of Sverdlovsky, which was formerly Yekatrinburg of the USSR. The crash story follows a familiar pattern normally associated with this type of report. A fiery crash of an unknown object occurred in March 1969. The site was secured by the Russian military, and one dead alien was found in the wreckage. The remains of the craft and alien were brought to a secure location, and the alien body was autopsied. Both still and moving pictures were taken of the craft, its retrieval, and the alien autopsy. The autopsy shows only an alien torso and arm. From the size of the body parts, the alien would have been an extremely small being.
The footage at the crash site does seem to be authentic at least on several points. The truck in the film is a circa 1950 model ZIS151, which has not been used by the military for quite some time, and the truck would have been difficult to find to stage a hoax with. Other elements of the film do not exhibit any obvious signs of a hoax, as to the movement of the soldiers, the timing of the film as to the shadows, and the UFO itself.
There are also several documents shown to verify the event itself, and an eyewitness to the event who swears that the recovery mission did occur. The footage of the autopsy film shows personnel without caps and gowns, which seemed odd to me at first, but after some research I found that this was commonplace for that era in Russia.
The furnishings in the room are acceptable, and in Russia have probably not changed much today. Three men in their 20s and 30s are performing the procedure, and one woman is taking notes. The note taker is identified as KGB stenographer O. A. Pshonikina. The alien's torso and arm are lying together on the table as the autopsy is performed, and there are documents shown to support the autopsy.
Although the USA-Russia relationship is much improved over a few years ago, it still lacks. Any information received is subject to translation, and often times interpretation. It is sad there is not more cooperation between the two countries. The case of the 1969 retrieval and autopsy are difficult to assess. Until more information is uncovered, it will remain unsubstantiated.

The mirrors redirect the signals to the intended receiver, who recombines the photons to reconstruct the message. Neither the intended receiver nor any eavesdropper would be able to locate the home planet of the sender. Also, it would be impossible to detect the message at all without extremely sophisticated technology, New Scientist magazine reported. To recombine the beams and recreate the message you would need to detect the arrival time of the photons extremely accurately to identify pairs of photons split by the sender.

Hi, I am a regular reader of your newsletter and I wanted to tell you about something that happened to me a few years ago, probably about 5 years ago to give a rough estimation. This story has only ever been told to about 2 or 3 people in the past, friends that all think it was an alien abduction. Before this event took place I witnessed a UFO sighting, the story to this can be found on my website If you click on sightings and then view webmasters sighting that is the UFO story. The story is probably as good as I could possibly describe it I have not elaborated on any of it and those events are exactly as I recall them. I am a very logical person and a firm believer in aliens visiting our planet.
Shortly after this event, about a week, I had a very unusual experience. I cannot remember every single detail but I will tell you about what I do remember.
I remember waking up on a black dentist chair with a woman standing over me she looked very human and if I were to describe her she looked like a perfect human those are the only words I can find. I can remember her face quite clearly but I can't describe it in words. I noticed that she had jet-black hair in what I would describe as a bob. She was wearing an all in one black suit and she also seemed to have a black collar as well. The material could be described as similar to PVC it was shiny. I don't remember if there was any markings or patterns on the suit but I do remember that she had black lipstick on. The woman disappeared into a room that was behind the dentist chair slightly to the right of me.
The dentist chair was kind of situated away from the front part of the room in what I would describe as an open but separate part of the room. It seemed to have carpet and I recall this was like a brown colour. The next thing I remember was being sat next to about 4 or 5 people, they were all men. The men were different from the woman and they had blonde hair and were wearing light blue suits. I estimate that there was about 4 or 5 of them so I will say that about 4 of the men looked identical, again very human like in appearance, in fact I would say that they were humans. But one of the men looked different but he like the others was wearing the same clothing and had the same hair colour. Again there clothing seemed to be all in one, I do however seem to recall that they had like a yellow V shape on the front going from one shoulder down to the chest and back up to the other shoulder the line seemed to be about an inch thick.
These men sat in front of what appeared to be machinery with orange flashing lights. I can't remember any other details; other than only one man spoke to me; the others seemed to be busy, the man that spoke to me was the man I described as looking different from the others. The controls seemed to be in front of what appeared to be windows and I remember the room being a half circle. There were windows next to each other right across the room, outside was black. One of the blonde men spoke to me, but I couldn't reply.
He spoke to me orally but I couldn't speak, instead it was as if he was inside my head and he could completely understand what I was thinking. I don't remember what conversations we had if any, but I do remember the man asking me where I would like to go and for some reason I remember thinking Australia for some bizarre reason. The next thing I remember was looking through the windows at a coastline, but I was viewing it from the sea. Then the woman that I had previously described seemed to appear again from another room, and said that the men shouldn't talk to me and that it was time I left. The next minute I remember was sitting up in my bed looking out the window for some strange reason. About a week after this experience I developed an infection in the roof of my mouth. Once this had disappeared I was left with a cyst in my mouth that is still there to this day. Make of this story what you will, I put it down to nothing more than a dream, even though my friends claim that alien abductions are mainly spiritual experiences and claim that it was a very real event. It would certainly be good to receive some feed back on this, as I am as baffled about the whole incident as the next person. All the events in this story are what I remember and I have not made any of this up. By the way I live in North Wales and I am now 27.

UFO DIPS TO TREE-TOP LEVEL IN FLORIDA

We were coming back from picking up my kids from Tallahassee (Florida) a 3 1/2 hour drive, about 1 mile from our apartment when I noticed something off to my left while driving home. My two kids were asleep as well as my girlfriend. I thought it was a plane because of the lights on the corners and left it at that. As I was turning the corner into our apartments, I slowed and pulled off the road because I saw it again on the opposite side of the road. I stopped and watched it, thinking it would just keep flying by but when I stopped it stopped, dipping down about maybe 20 feet on the tree tops then went back up.
At this point I started getting that nervous feeling: like when the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. I then rolled down my window to hear the engine or any noise coming from it but there was none. At this time I was shaking Melinda (my girlfriend) awake to help me figure what this thing was. She asked me what was the problem, and I told her to look out her window and tell me what she saw.
She woke up quickly and asked, "What the hell is that?" I told here I had no clue. Then it started turning clockwise, and we observed a blinking light under the object. I then felt relieved because I thought it's got to be a plane, but as I focused on the light, it was more of a strobe then a blinking light, going in different repetitions like (and bear with me) blink...blink blink blink ... blink blink ... blink... I do know that plane lights do not do this. We watched it for about 5 minutes until it just, well, like zipped away, not leaving a streak, just not being there. I followed up by looking in the local papers or kind of poking around at our neighbors without being straight forward, but with no luck...I still have no idea what it was...and hope maybe by chance someone close around here might read this and have seen something similar to this ... thanks for your time.

SIMFEROPOL -- Anton Anfalov, Ukrainian UFO Association writes, "On Saturday, April 30, 2003, at 8:45 PM, while standing on the Lenin Square and talking with my friend, Mr.V. Zdorov, we noticed several bright flashes of white-silver and of ruby red colors to the northeast. This was definitely neither airplane nor satellite, because the flashes were short, stationary, and with a big time lag (2-5 minutes) between them indicating that the flashes were from a hovering object.
CRIMEA -- New UFOs were observed over the Crimean peninsula, south of Ukraine, on Monday, May 5, 2003, starting from 12:30 AM until 3 PM. A large strange and definitely outlined lens-shaped cloud hovered over Chatyrdag Mountain and plateau south of Simferopol.' The large cloud was present in an almost cloudless sky. Despite the laws of atmospheric circulation, this cloud had a definitely outlined form and shape for over two hours DESPITE THE WIND. This was noticed by many local residents of Simferopol', and Anton photographed these strange clouds. The clear impression was that this was just camouflaged hovering UFO, no less than 50 meters in diameter.
PENNSYLVANIA REFLECTIVE" WHITE "TUBE" FLYING LOW
POTTSTOWN -- The witness was driving on Highway 422 west on May 1, 2003, when he noticed a reflective" white "tube" flying 100 feet or so under a low flying passenger plane during daylight at 1:30 PM. The witness states, "The passenger jet had red and white paint with white words, that caught my attention, because it was flying lower than usual." I stopped my car in middle of the intersection when I saw a sunlight glint moving about 100 ft. underneath the jet. A "reflection" followed exactly with the jet but it was 1/5th the size. The best I can say it was either a "steel pipe" shape or tube. Absolutely stunning, it moved with the jet perfectly timed but definitely an object, as it moved it stopped reflecting the sun, and I saw it had white color, then it faded away. Cars honking behind me made me move. I pulled into a parking lot and could see the passenger jet, but not the object. I watched for about 30 seconds. It was broad daylight, great visibility that day. I stared again and again to try and make out more, but it was mostly a bright "reflection," like shiny metal. The object seemed white when the reflection of the sun died down. It was about the size of an automobile in relation to the jet.
ST. CLAIR - The witness reported seeing a bright light hovering above on May 3, 2003, at 2:45 AM, and states, "Traveling to work in my car I noticed a greenish-blue light at the altitude of a small aircraft that appeared to be hovering or moving very slowly above a nearby treeline." ATLANTA -- The saucer was flying south, parallel to I-75 While riding north through Atlanta on I-75, on April 26, 2003. I noticed an object just below the clouds and flying south at 5 PM. At first I though it was a plane until it rotated and it did not have wings that I could see. Having observed planes flying into the Atlanta airport all afternoon, this object stood out because of the altitude it was flying, and its size, which was smaller than a plane would have been. FLORIDA - AN ORANGE BALL
CHOCTAWHATCHEE BAY, IN WALTON COUNTY -- I was facing north looking at Legion Park on Choctawhatchee Bay on April 26, 2003. There is a security light in the park that has a bluish/white light on a telephone pole and almost directly over the security light was an orange ball. The orange ball was just slightly larger than the security light but much further away at 8:35 PM. It appeared to be over the middle of the bay. I watched it for about five minutes during which time it did not move. It was much larger than a planet or star but not nearly as large as a full moon would have appeared that close to the horizon. It did not appear to be a flare as it was stationary in the sky and it did not appear to be burning. I went inside to get my wife and when I returned it was gone. www.UFOCENTER.com
ILLINOIS - A VERY BRIGHT FLYING TRIANGLE
DES PLAINES -- The witness reports seeing a large object in the night skies April 28, 2003, on a humid and hot clear night near Elk Grove. He explains, "The object was bright, big, triangular and it came real close to me and after about 20 seconds it just disappeared at 10:30 PM." My friend, my brother and my two sisters saw it as it took off real fast." It flew northeast into a clear sky. Ten minutes later it came back once again and it was the same thing, but now there were two flying triangles. IDAHO - AQUA BLUE SPHERE
SANDPOINT -- While riding my motorcycle north toward Sandpoint on Highway 95 at 11:45 PM, on April 23, 2003, a very bright, aqua colored, round object with an extremely long trail caught my attention, as it came across the sky traveling from east to west and downward in a fashion that suggested it would impact the ground. I expected to see a flash or perhaps feel a jolt from the event but neither occurred. It was simply there and gone. The color was quite remarkable and unlike anything I have ever witnessed.
BUENA PARK -- On May 1, 2003, the witness who has considerable technical background noticed round spheres of light above his home at 10: 42 PM. He states, "There were four spheres of light that were very noticeable. They were each about two to three feet in size. The one sphere of light was west of me where I stood. The other two spheres of light were north of me. The last sphere of light was straight above my head and my home. WASHINGTON - FLYING TRIANGLE AND LIGHTS
WAUCONDA -- On May 1, 2003, the witness who lives in a very rural area with no city lights nearby stepped out of the back door and observed a circular blue-white light about 3" in diameter at arm's length coming from the north. It was heading toward the southeast at about satellite speed at 10: 45 PM. When I first saw the object it was about 20 degrees elevation in the north. The object became gradually smaller as it proceeded across the sky until in the southeastern sky at about 70 degrees elevation it instantly returned to a 3" size at arm's length again and shot off.
WEST SEATTLE -- A married couple were walking into their house on May 1, 2003, when something caught the wife's peripheral vision at 10 PM. She looked up and said something like "What the hell is that?" She states, "A triangular craft was moving across the sky above us at an altitude similar to airplanes in this part of the city near Boeing field, not far from SeaTac Airport." It had a light at each of the points that was a dim orange and the lights seemed striped rather than solid. The craft was completely silent. We watched it fly in a northeasterly direction until it encountered the city light reflection in the sky and we could no longer see it. Our dog was trembling and became lethargic and lost his balance.
The witness sent an MS Paint image of the husband's recollection. I recall big, round lights, while he recalls trapezium-shaped lights and wings. I recall the round lights, as I said, and drew the wings as round, although I'm not sure they were. CANADA - RED LIGHT AND BRIGHT WHITE FLASH
HALIFAX INVESTIGATION - Sydnie reports, "Four of us were outside as it was dusk and just getting dark when we saw the UFO that was about the size of a pea. " There were no lights on the object (it was completely blank). There was a little wind, and it only passed through one misty cloud, other than that the weather was warm. It was sort of moving like an arrow through the sky. It was flying towards Sherwater Air Base and it took three or four minutes to go across the sky. Thanks to Sydnie
CHILLIWACK, BC - The Mother was driving her son home from work on May 1, 2003, when they saw a red flashing light just to the left of the mountains in the west. It was flashing consistently and sitting in one spot. The son says, "I told my mother to stop the car as we were on a back road that had little traffic and I rolled down my window and looked at the strange red light." At 10:30 PM, we noticed that it would move south horizontally in little spurts, but mostly stayed in one spot. We drove home and could just see it over the roof of a house. I noticed the light drop down a bit, so I stood up a bit straighter, but the light dropped down again. I moved over to where my Mom was standing, and we observed it clearly. It was staying in one place again. Suddenly a bright flash of light came from about the same place I'd initially seen the red light. It happened again a few seconds later, closer to the location of the red light that was now fading, and the flashing wasn't as brilliant. NETHERLANDS - FLYING TRIANGLE
ALMERE -- Two witnesses spotted a triangular shaped object flying over the highway on May 3, 2003. The witness reports, "At 12:30 AM, I was driving my car north with my brother when I noticed a police car with lights coming from the side lane, so I changed lanes and looked in my rearview mirror and saw two red lights in a horizontal line flying southwest across the highway." A second later there was a third light, which was flashing white/green. That is when I realized the craft had a triangle shape. I shouted to my brother that there was a UFO. The craft hovered over the highway. The red lights were not flashing. It hung over an open field for a minute and than sped off. I got off the highway and started following it. I stopped the car and got the camera out and we started recording for 20 seconds, but it was already far away. It shows one red light as a dot in the night sky and no sound.
