ASTRONAUT SAYS "THERE IS LIFE IN SPACE"
CAPE CANAVERAL -- Astronaut Neil Armstrong says, "Life is out there somewhere." The first human to set foot on a place beyond Earth found an airless, waterless, lifeless moon. Nevertheless, Neil Armstrong is convinced life thrives elsewhere in the cosmos. "We have no proof," said Armstrong, who stepped onto the moon 30 years ago. "But if we extrapolate, based on the best information we have available to us, we have to come to the conclusion that ... other life probably exists out there and perhaps in many places." Two million years after intelligent life emerged on Earth, humans finally have arrived at the moment when science and technology are making possible a systematic search for other life in the universe. During the next 100 years, researchers armed with powerful telescopes, computers and robots could find proof of past or present microbial life in our solar system. And during the next 1,000 years, scientists say, it's no longer pure fantasy to think that the human race could discover and perhaps contact intelligent civilizations on distant worlds. "This is really an incredible time to be living because we've gone from the idea that we're alone on this nice little planet to the idea that anything is possible," said Lou Allamandola, a chemist at NASA's Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.
After all, there are 400 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy and an estimated half-trillion galaxies in the universe. "We know there are planets going around other stars, and we know it's likely that some of those planets have the right conditions for life," said Dan Werthimer, a research physicist at the University of California at Berkeley. "So it would be really bizarre if we were the only ones. It's much more likely that the universe is teeming with life." Secret Chinese Pyramids Evidence of Alien Visitors?
According to the old Chinese legend, over one hundred pyramids built in China are evidence of visits paid by aliens to our planet.
At the very beginning of the century, two Australian merchants traveled to the vast plains of Sichuan in the central part of China, where they discovered over one hundred pyramids. The Australians asked the superior of the local monastery about the pyramids, and the superior said that they were "very old." The first record of the pyramids was written over 5,000 years ago; therefore, it is very likely that they are even older.
The merchants also discovered that the pyramids belonged to the epoch when China was ruled by ancient emperors who believed in the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. Moreover, the emperors themselves insisted that they were ancestors "of the sons of the sky, who had landed the Earth on iron dragons." Aliens are alleged to have been the constructors of the pyramids.In March 1994, Austrian Hartwig Hausdorf made a trip to the area close to the city of Xi'an, the capital of the Shaanxi province, which is situated in the central part of China. These territories were closed for foreigners. During the tour, the Austrian discovered six legendary pyramids. Hartwig Hausdorf organized another tour to China in October 1994, this time with a video camera. Hausdofr managed to shoot an 18-minute film. When Hausdorf returned home, he decided to watch the film that he had shot in China. However, the Austrian was extremely surprised to see more pyramids in the background. He counted over 100 pyramids standing in an area of 2,000 square kilometers.
Some of the pyramids are currently in very poor condition, as they were plundered by the local citizens. The pyramids are mostly built of loam and soil; some farmers destroyed the pyramids to take the loam and soil to their fields and used them in the farms.
When Hausdorf decided to continue his investigation of the pyramids, he faced lots of problems. Although he was allowed to continue his investigation, the Chinese government banned any excavations in the area.
What kind of constructions are these pyramids? The heights of the pyramids situated in the Sichuan plains are from 25 to 100 meters, with the exception of only one pyramid situated to the north of the rest constructions. It is the so-called Great White Pyramid, which is said to be about 300 meters high. This pyramid can be truly called the mother of all Chinese pyramids.
Recently, the Chinese authorities declared the area where the Great White Pyramid stands a closed region, as a launching pad for rockets is situated in that region.
The Chinese pyramids astonishingly resemble the pyramids in the Central America. Is it possible that the South American pyramids were also constructed by the sons of the sky.

Feds asked to shed light on UFOsWASHINGTON -- The federal government is not adequately investigating unidentified flying objects and is hiding UFO-related documents, members of a new coalition hoping to bring a serious tone to the subject said today.
Spearheading the Coalition for Freedom of Information is the Sci-Fi Channel, which wants the government to unearth UFO documents so independent scientists can review the material. The cable network wants to further explore the line that separates science fiction from fact, Bonnie Hammer, its president, said.
"When credible scientists conclude that 5 to 10 percent of UFOs cannot be explained by natural or artificial causes, we think it is worth taking a much closer look at what is clearly a real and ubiquitous phenomena," she said.
As part of the coalition effort, veteran UFO journalist and author Leslie Kean is filing a Freedom of Information request to obtain documents related to a 1965 incident near Kecksburg, Pa., in which the Air Force retrieved an "object of unknown origin."
Conspiracy theorists, private investigators and journalists have long tried to obtain government documentation of UFOs. Often the target of their attention has been an Air Force base about 90 miles north of Las Vegas commonly known as Area 51. The government acknowledges a classified installation there but does not disclose base information based on presidential orders to protect national security.
Kean, whose stories have appeared in major daily newspapers nationwide, said she chose to chase information about Kecksburg over reported Nevada incidents because Area 51 documents are among the most secret in government.
Also appearing at the event was John Podesta, former chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, now a lobbyist and law professor. Podesta is lending his name to the effort because he is a longtime advocate of freedom of information, he said. Podesta, a fan of Fox television's "The X Files," said he was not a UFO conspiracy theorist and added, "I've certainly never 'been taken.' " But he said the government was keeping documents under wraps that should be made public.
"It's time to find out what the truth really is out there," Podesta said.
Clinton, like presidents before him, signed orders to keep Area 51 documents classified. Despite his call for openness, Podesta declined to discuss the base.
"I'm not really at liberty to talk about what I do know about this subject matter," he said.
Podesta earlier this year was a paid lobbyist who worked with Nevada lawmakers on a completely different issue -- Yucca Mountain. He helped lead their fight in Congress against the nuclear waste dump. The state's $2.8 million anti-Yucca public relations campaign was worth the effort because it raised national awareness about the potential dangers of transporting highly radioactive nuclear waste cross country to Nevada, Podesta said after the press conference.

NEW YORK UFO VIDEOTAPED
ALBANY -- FOX TV News reported on October 21, 2002, that a spear shaped object was caught on film passing above Albany International Airport during daylight hours as a commercial aircraft landed at the airport. The spear shaped object was moving at high speed and could be mistaken for a missile, but none was known to have crashed. The FBI is attempting to determine the cause of the video sighting. http://www.fox23news.com
**************************WATERTOWN -- The witness says, "My friend and I were going 4 wheeling on October 5, 2002, when we saw a flying rectangular shape that slowly came to a stop at 7:20 PM. When we stopped, we noticed, it had very bright lights that were greenish blue, white, and red. Suddenly the object made a sharp 180 degree turn and headed directly toward us. It flew right above us, and it started to shine its light on us. My girl friend got really scared, she told me to go as fast as I could and drive into the garage. Instead I went up my driveway, when we noticed that the object had turned another 90 degrees and was again beginning to follow us. So my friend and I got off the 4 wheeler and ran to get my Mom and brother. By this time the object picked up speed and shot across the sky. I begged my friend to get back on the 4 wheeler and when she finally did we went to the other side of my house to see where the object went. My friend got really scared and got off the 4 wheeler and ran in the house. As I was parking the 4 wheeler I noticed the lights again. so I called for my friend, but she did not come out. As I watched it began to disappear, and as it moved farther away, it just vanished. There was no noise.
STATEN ISLAND -- My father was driving, and I pointed out an egg shaped UFO flying relatively low on October 1, 2002. It was a lot larger than a plane moving around slowly in what seemed like circular motions. We watched the UFO as we drove and when it went out of site behind tree cover we rushed home to get our binoculars. We then headed to Gateway Park to try an observe it again, but it had gone. There were either one or two white lights on the egg shaped object. Peter Davenport receives numerous reports of blimps from the NYC area that may be responsible for the report.

PENNSYLVANIA FLYING TRIANGLE
PLYMOUTH MEETING -- The witness reports, "I was outside having a cigarette on October 5, 2002, and I was looking up at the sky and saw a flying triangle shaped lights blinking radically. It was in no way an airplane light. " I passed it but off as nothing. Then to my surprise at 7:40 PM, there were more coming very fast and very close to each other with odd light patterns. Then I new something was not right, so I went inside to grab my family, and they confirmed what I saw. We tried to find a logical explanation for these craft, but could not. OHIO LARGE OCTAGON BLUE LIGHTS ON RIM RED CENTER
CINCINNATI -- I am reporting this for my friend, who says that on October 10, 2002, about 8:30 PM he was on his way home from work in downtown Cincinnati, when a woman asked him if he saw the UFO? He then looked up in the sky and saw an object shaped like an octagonal stop sign, that had a red light in the center and blue lights on the rim. One of the rims was extended off the object, which he saw move into place, so the object was then symmetrical. He said, "It was fairly high up in the sky with haze around it, making the lights 'dim' or not as bright." It was large, the size of a dinner plate in scale to his extended hand. He said, "There were multiple witnesses, and the neighbors from his apartment building were told and they went out and saw it as well." Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC

MINNESOTA FLYING TRIANGLE
SAVAGE -- The witness reports, he observed a delta-shaped object in clear skies at 1:22 AM on October 14, 2002. The object had three soft white lights at the vertices which shone downward. The delta shaped object was about 40 feet in width and there were no other discernible lights or characteristics. It was flying southwesterly at 150 knots, at 1500 feet AGL. It made no sound even though the witness was close enough to hear if it had jet engines. It flew a straight and level course for about 5 seconds, then rolled right to a 45 degree angle which caused the downward lights to shine brighter. After a second, the object then rolled left back to a straight and level position. There was a dark sky with a few visible stars. This object did not conform to any recognizable aircraft lighting or flight patterns and was far too low for a normal approach to the airport. Thanks to Peter Davenport.

ILLINOIS THROBBING CHEVRON PULSATING LIGHTS
FOREST PARK -- Coming home from bowling on October 5, 2002, at 2:38 AM, the witness noticed an unusual shadowy effect upon the house next to his. The witness states, "The electronic devices in my vehicle were acting mysteriously as I stood and stared with disbelief as the craft revealed itself in its full glory." It generated a strong magnetic field as it hovered 250 to 400 feet above me. It was obscured by a huge cloud, but the object had to be at least the size of an aircraft carrier with multiple rows of lights. There were 12 to 15 rows of lights that ranged in color from a pale yellow all the way up to a deep dark purple. The lights pulsed in a unique symmetrical way, yet it seemed to follow some sort of code. I felt as though it was communicating with my inner soul and I was not afraid. I felt at peace with the universe. The alien craft had an unusual disproportionate wedge shape when it originally uncloaked and after about 10-12 seconds, additional micro-pods began appearing as though attached to its starboard and aft sides. ENGLAND OVAL SHAPED UFO SEEN NEAR AIRPORT
NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE -- The witness reports seeing an oval shaped craft that swayed and suddenly dropped, then made of circular motions, with the colored lights circling it in no particular sequence on October 14, 2002. It stayed in the same place for at least 30 minutes starting at 8:00 PM. It was near the Newcastle airport and planes frequently crossed over, so we knew it wasn't an airplane. It flashed white, red, orange and blue in no particular sequence, but it looked like the colors were circling the object with a red circle around it like an aura. Then after about 30 minutes it started to sway from side to side. Then it dropped at high speed, and started to sway, then ten minutes later it circled in the sky. My friend got her binoculars and we could see it had four dots of light around it and on the oval itself in zigzag patterns. It had a slight red trail behind it. One hour into the sighting it got smaller and smaller in ten minutes and disappeared.

SPAIN DID SOMEONE SEE A BLUE UFO?
BARCELONA -- Our experience occurred on Saturday, October 12, between 20:30 and 21:00 hours on National Highway 340 in the vicinity of Molins de Rei. As we drove in our car toward Barcelona, all of the lights on the highway turned off at the same time as the horizon became filled with a strange blue light. One-second later, the lights came on again and two smaller flashes occurred, having the same shade of blue. LARGE LUMINOUS DISC STUNS MOTORISTS IN POLAND
On Tuesday, September 24, 2002, at approximately 7 p.m., "a large glowing disc" suddenly appeared in the sky over Mogilnie, a small village 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Wylatowa in Poland.
According to Tomasz Wiersawicz, UFO Roundup correspondent in Poland, "The object was a large disc, very brightly shining and at a slight inclincation to the horizontal. It was surrounded by a faint reddish light."
The UFO's sudden appearance "was so amazing that cars stopped on the road" outside Mogilnie, and the motorists "got out of their vehicles to get a better look at the object."
Mogilnie was also the sight of "several crop circle formations" in August 2002 and "also during the previous year (2001) in the summer." (Many thanks to Tomasz Wiersawicz for this report.)

TRIANGULAR UFO SEEN BY A WOMAN IN SLOVAKIA
"A triangular UFO was recently spotted by a woman in the western Slovak town of Jaslovske Bohunice. The woman said she was awakened by strange sounds at 1:30 a.m., according to Miroslav Karlek, a member of a UFO club in Trnava."
Jaslovske Bohunice is located in Zapadoslovensky province, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Trnava, the provincial capital.
"When she looked out her bedroom window, she saw an illuminated triangular object moving above the town."

FOUR TRIANGULAR UFOs SEEN IN NORTHAMPTON, UK
On Friday, October 4, 2002, at 11 p.m., Annabel and Wayne Norton were at their home in the city of Northampton, UK when they spied something unusual in the night sky.
Annabel Norton reported, "The objects were flying high up in the sky. We spotted four triangular-shaped objects, all of the same size and white in colour, with a red/orange glow around them similar to an aura."
"At first, we thought they were stars but, after a couple of minutes, we realized this was not possible due to the colour and the speed at which they were travelling."
"The four objects were moving in a westerly direction at high speed. They looked as though they were dancing through the skies, moving forward with sudden movements to the sides. One permanently stayed at the back of the formation whilst the other three darted around almost as though they were playing with each other. We only witnessed this for a maximum of 40 seconds before they were totally out of sight." (Email Form Report)

SPHERICAL UFO SIGHTED NORTH OF SEATTLE
On Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at 7:45 p.m., John Novak and a friend were doing some automotive work in a backyard in Lake Forest Park, Washington state (population 13,142), located 15 miles (25 kilometers) north of Seattle, when they spotted a glowing UFO in the sky.
"At approximately 7:45 p.m.," John reported, "a friend and I were in his backyard changing the oil in his van when, facing south, I saw a large, glowing, whitish- blue ball of brilliant light move slowly across the sky at least 60 to 65 degrees altitude above the horizon."
"I first spotted it in the sky southwest of us, heading on an eastern path, which would have put it going over Puget Sound towards Lake Washington, over the small cities of Shoreline (population 53,025) and Lake Forest Park, just north of Seattle."
"The moon was out that night, so we compared the size of the object relative to the moon, and it was about one-fourth the size of the moon. There were two airplanes to the south of us that appeared to change course and follow it to the east. We saw the red and white flashing (navigational) lights of the planes but never saw any flashes from the object, that was quite a bit larger in the sky than the airplanes."
"Just before it went out of sight over the trees to the southeast, it just vanished, like someone had turned off the power. The two airplanes appeared to change course at that point and move west. The entire sighting was about three to four minutes" in duration. (Email Report)
